It’s Christmas time for Teen Mom 2! There was a lot going on, but it seemed like everyone had one thing in common: all of the girls were forced to deal with separation. Kailyn was separated from her son, Jenelle from her boyfriend, and Chelsea considers how her parents’ separation affects her life and relationship with Adam. Yay!! I love when the Teen Moms talk about birth control. Kailyn wins this week for bringing birth control conversations out in the open.
Why is it so awkward to talk about birth control? Girls may be able to talk about it with their friends, but not with parents and boyfriends. You don’t have to go around sharing your birth control plans with everybody, but preventing pregnancy should absolutely be a discussion between you and your partner.

Welfare, doctor’s appointments, surgery, and homelessness…these are some pretty big issues for anyone to handle, let alone a teenager. Wow, what an emotional season finale. If you're like me, you're already dying to find out what's happens next for the families on Teen Mom. This finale, and really this whole season, was about the girls trying to discover themselves as adults. The show ended with a lot of questions and different paths for the girls.
