What is Love?
What is love? How much do you care about one another? What do you love about the other person? How long do you think you will stay together? What do people in love do? Are you being honest about how much you love one another? What are you afraid of will happen if you fall out of love? Is it fun to be in love?These are all questions that come to mind when people talk about “love”.
Webster’s dictionary describes love as a “strong affection for another arising out of kinship or personal ties” and “attraction based on sexual desire”. These definitions are completely different from each other, but both accurate.
Everyone has their own definition of love. In high school everyone experiences love in a different way. Some people fall in and out of love countless times, some people only love one person, and some people never find it. I have heard people say love is a dangerous thing, and others say it is one of the most beautiful feelings in life. Can it be both?
Last week I asked my friends what they thought love meant. Not one person had the same definition. These are some of the descriptions of love that I heard:
Rosie S. “Love is being there for someone, staying for someone who needs you even when it hurts you.”
Sophia V. “I think love is a feeling where you feel like nothing can go wrong. When you find a certain person who you care about more than anything, someone you can trust with anything and are as open with as possible. It makes you happy all the time, a constant state of pure happiness where you feel like nothing can go wrong, and that someone is always there for you, no matter what. Knowing someone's always going to care about you in a deep way, or be there for you. To know that you have someone who's going to think you're beautiful, no matter how badly you've screwed up.”
Monica V. “Love is that feeling you get when your world is made up of this one special person and without that person, you seem empty.”
Adam L. “Love is an indescribable feeling you get when you’re so heartfelt towards and set on one specific object or human being.”
There are hundreds of millions of definitions for love, but it doesn’t mean that love always involves sex. When you feel like you love someone, sex does not have to happen. If you are in love, but not ready to have sex, then wait. If the person loves you back, even with their own unique definition of love, they will understand.

Love Is When Yuh Can Trust, Care & Respect Someone & Their Actions.
love is something that 2 people feel for eachother when they hit that stage in life were they feel for someone. Love is this warm and tinglely feeling you get when your around that special someone that feeling of endurance that you can trust them with your heart, that theyll never brake or hurt it.
I think love is a strong, compassionate feeling you have towards someone. Love is when you see that special someone and get butterfly in your stomach. Love is when you argue with the one you love & make-up with the one you love.
Love for me is like having a best friend; you trust them with your life, exchange secrets and feel totally comfortable around them. You have to be able to depend on them and they have to be able to depend on you. You have to be there for them, happy or sad. You also have to be willing to give things up for them if you expect anything in return. You have to HAVE TO love them with all of your heart if that's how you want them to love you. My boyfriend is my best friend and I love it. <3
love can't be explained. it's one of those live and learn things, it can never really be understood because it varies from person to person; but you will know when your in love, its the unavoidable.

i think love is when you cant go a day without thinking about that person , when all you think about is that person . when he cares for you & loves you like you are , complimnets you every day , textes you every morning. <3
i think as teenagers we confuse being IN love and TO love. to love, is like you're family and you're friends. the people you care about and that will always be there. but being in love is between you and the other person, it's an intimate friendship, and it's all types of different feelings. to feel so secure with that person but also be jealous because you want them all to yourself. it's those uncontainable heart skips because you know on the other end of of this love is someone who wants to be there for you, with you, and no one else. i personally have never been IN love, but i haved loved, and i think love is what makes the world go round. love is kindness in the working, and i think that in one point of your life you have loved and it was a glorious thing. whether it was your childhood best friend or your very first pet. without love, you couldnt live because love is something that makes you push foward and push for that best. love is foward, so always look ahead. although im almost 17, not once has someone told me that love was cruel and hurtful, so don't be afraid to walk with sometype of love in yout heart. tell the people you love that you love them because you can't let fear run your life. you never truly know what will happen, and if nothing does happen, just think, there is someone even more amazing waiting out there for you. i think love is when You have a special feeling for a person that when you are with them ,time goes fast.you look them in the eyes all the time . you sleep thinkin of them . all you want to do is talk to them .....etc.
Love is something that we feel towards one another, family, friends, partner. It's feeling comfortable with someone, knowing they will always love you no matter what. Doing things just to make one another happy, putting up with each other not because you have to but because you want to. You both are willing to fight for each other, no matter what. It's a strong feeling. It's real, and you'll know when it is.

love thruthly is 100% is right. love is very important to people but mostly in teens. love is patient, kind and caring. but most of the time love is romantic. love is when two people care about each other, both are in the same team, both undertand each other, but most important always be there for each others needs.
Love is 100% trust in someone else and 100% trust that they feel the same about you.

So.... Love for Me Is Great, Heartfelt and Confusing.
People have a tendency to forget that love isn't always just a boyfriend-girlfriend thing. There's family love and friend love too. I think love is where you really strongly care about them and you genuinely want them to be happy no matter what. Maybe you have to slip on a few banana peels to make them laugh, but at least they're cheered up, right?
I think love is when a girl & a boy really likes each other and are willing to make sacrifices for one another!! Love is all about trust and communication; what is a relationship with out trust or communication?? It's not. Love is NOT all about sex, if he/she loves you then they wouldn't mind waiting to have sex

love is a strong affection for another person. when your in love you feel such happiness like nothing could come in between you and that person. they have a special meaning to you..they make you feel secure, loved...i think you should never really question how long the two of you will last you should just let time go by and see how things go because if that person really likes you they will wait for you. i think people that are in love just spend time with the person the love.
